AFFILIATION

An affiliated association or academy is an educational institution that operates independently, but also has a formal collaborative agreement with another, usually larger institution that may have some level of control or influence over its academic policies, standards or programs.

IASST Academy was established in Vienna, Austria in 2014 and is affiliated with the International Association of Sports Science and Technology in Vienna, Austria. The association's scientific council was formed from an international group of experts and researchers in the field of sports and fitness sciences. The association primarily aims to promote the role of science in the development of sports and concepts of health and fitness.
